First, you must install the ECR485 after cut off the electricity. Secondly, put the ECR485 on the flat roof. Thirdly, connect
the COM 1 of cash register with ECR485 by the D shape communication wire that is provided by ECR485. Finally, execute
the ECR's 485-network function by the two RJ23 ports of ECR485. |

Question 5: What are the uses of the connection port indicator lights? |

MX485 has 4 connection ports: port 1 is on the left side and is for modem connection, port 2 is for power connection, port
3 is for responding and dial-up function, port 4 is the socket for 2 parallel connection RJ23. There are 3 LED indicator
lights for MX485: (1) The power light will turn on as soon as the you put through the electricity. (2) The transmitting light
will turn on when the MX485 is receiving data from modem and then transmitting it to ECR. (3) The receiving light turn on
when the MX485 is receiving data from cash register and then transmitting it to modem. |

Question 13: What is related setting of cash register when connect the kitchen printer? |

The related settings are as below:
(1) The 10 item of system programming should be setting of 1000 or 2000, setting 2 of the first digit is for POS58 connection while setting 1 of the first digit is for ESPON TM300 connection, other settings are invalid for kitchen printer connection.
(2) Baud rate should be 9600. |

1. Programming for the weighing item as PLU item. 2. Input the PLU code and press "PLU" key in R mode, the cash register
will display "GEt -" for weighing item. 3. Put the item on the scale and then press "Add" key can finish registration. |
